What should I know before make a rental request?

Q1. How many days in advance do I need in order to place an order with you?

A1. 3 days. If you have less than 3 days to make a rental request, please give us a phone call or send us an email. We are pleased to assist you.

Q2. Can I make a request on the phone?

A2. We recommend customers make requests by filling out the order form. If you have further requests, please contact us for your convenience.

Q3. Do I need to pay a deposit when I make an order request?

A3. No deposit is required

Q4. What form of payment available online?

A4. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners, and JCB.

Q5. What currencies can I pay with when renting your devices?

A5. Japanese yen only

Q6. How much does shipping cost?

A6. For standard delivery, it is Free of Delivery, Free of Return for rental devices.

Q7. Are there any additional charges I should be aware of?

A7. Cancelation fee only occured for cancelling less than 3 days of rental start date. For example, if you cancel the rental within 3 days, you will be charged 1,000 yen cancelation fee. For late return, you will be charged 1,200 yen for each day late.

Q8. I need an invoice to submit to my company. How do I get it?

A8. We issue an invoice upon the request. Also, shipping details will be sent along with your rental devices.

Q9. What if I would like to change the rental date?

A9. Before shipping, you can make any changes without an additional fee. Please send us a written form for the above request, or even a quick phone call.

Q10. What if I lose the rental devices?

A10. Here are the loss fees

1) Pocket Wi-Fi Device: ¥30,000 (or ¥10,000 )
2) Battery: ¥4,200
3) AC Adapter: ¥3,000
4) USB Cable: ¥2,150
5) Carrying Case: ¥1,500
6) Plain Phone: ¥40,000
7) Android Phone: ¥70,000
8) iPhone 5C: ¥80,000

Pocket Wi-Fi

Q1. How many devices can I connect with one pocket Wi-Fi?

A1. You can connect up to 10 devices at the same time, however the speed might run slower due to the above connection.

Q2. I don't understand Japanese, do you have an English operation manual?

A2. Yes, All instructions are in English.

Q3. Do you provide support when I have difficulty using the rental devices?

A3. Please give us a phone call or a quick email if you have trouble. We are pleased to assist you.

Delivery/Return

Q1. Where can I pick up my rental device?

A1. Any where you tell us. We deliver to all locations through out Japan FREE OF CHARGE. Major Airports like Narita terminal 1, Narita terminal 2, Kansai International Airport, Chubu Centrair International Airport, New Chitose Airport, Haneda airport, Fukuoka airport, Hotels, Private residences, Offices.

Q2. How do I return the device ?

A2. We send everything you need to return the device . You will use the prepaid return envelope with label on it, seal it and drop off to any post box in Japan.

Q3. Where will I return the rental devices?

A3. You will find any posts all over Japan, even at the airports. It is 24 hour available. Just drop off the items into the post.

  1. For customers who are going to return the rental devices from the post at airport, please keep in mind that there will be no post AFTER the security checkpoint therefore, please return the devices before the security checkpoint.
  2. For customers who forgot to return the rental devices, and mistakenly brought the devices to their country:

You should inform us in advance even by a phone call to let us know the situation, and send back the rental devices as soon as possible. In the meantime, you will be charged ¥300/day until Japan Wi-Fi can confirm the rental devices back.

To avoid any troubles that might happen, we encourage you to let us know the tracking number right after you send back the rental devices to us.

Q4. Can my friend, on behalf of me, return the device to you?

A4. Yes, any of your acquaintances, on behalf of you, can return the rental devices to us.

Q5. Should I contact you after I drop off the rental items into the post?

A5. No, you do not necessarily to do so. We can track the return of the rental items 12-24 hours after you posted it. However, if you are worried about it, you can give us a quick phone call or let us know via an email. Your contact will be welcomed.

 

Extension/Termination/Cancelation

Q1. Due to my travel plans changing, I would like to use the device a couple more days. What should I do?

A1. You can send a written notice/form to us to extend the rental period. However, if you have no time to do so, you should at least give us a phone call to let us know you would like an extension.

Q2. Due to my travel plan changing, I would like to return the rental devices before the rental period ends. What should I do, and can I get a refund for those unused days?

A2. We will definitely refund the unused rental period to you only if you let us know in advanced. You can send us a written form/notice.

Q3. Is there a cancelation fee?

A3. If the cancelation is made before the item is shipped, there will be no cancelation fee. However, you will be charged 1,000 yen after the item has been shipped.
